This park is deceptive. At first glance it looks sparse and unlevel. However, the sites are fairly level and the "feel" is nice. We got the weekly rate. It's a small park, but extremely well kept. The showers, restrooms, and laundromat were immaculate. There is a large store on site. It's convenient to many local attractions. The hookups are convenient and the water pressure is adequate. The only downsides are 1) there is a lot of motorcycle and ATV traffic because there is a gas station on site so the days can be somewhat noisy, and 2) a personal pet peeve... fire pits. We don't like sites with fire pits because the smoke gets into the RV and makes everything stink. The price is reasonable and we would stay there again.

We made reservations 3 days in advance and they said they had a site that would accommodate our 38 foot motor home. We were going to stay for three nights. They said we had to pay a one night, non-refundable deposit. When we got to the park, it turned out to be a dump. The roads were narrow, and the site they assigned to us would have been extremely difficult to maneuver into. The office was messy and reeked of cigarette smoke. They had no other site to put us into, so we went to another RV park in the area, which cost 50% more, but was well worth it. I feel they took our deposit under false pretenses, knowing we would not be able to navigate safely into the site. The 3/7/7 rating in trailer life is woefully generous. I am pursuing getting a refund.

This is a beautiful RV park right on the Salmon River. There are a few negatives... riverside sites, by law, cannot have sewer hookups, but there are other sites with full hookups just a few yards from the river. There is no cable, and you probably won't have cell service, but, that's not why you're there! So I give it a 10. Everything else is positive. You would be hard pressed to find nicer, more accomodating owners than Shirley and Abner. The park is immaculate, the spaces are large and level, and the hookups are convenient. The ambience is heavenly.

This is an old, trashy park. The spaces are side by side and very close together. It is woefully overpriced considering it's lack of ambience, poor roads, narrow spaces, and trashy RVs that look like they've been there since the Nixon administration. What made things worse were all the mosquitos and a power failure that left us without power for 4 hours. I would not stay here again and I would recommend to others to bypass any opportunity they may have to stay here.

This is a fabulous park. The grounds are immaculate, with flowers professionally arranged around the park. The sites are spacious, the roads are extremely navigable, there are many trees, but satellite access is easily attainable. The sites are level and easy to get in and out of. The hookups are very accessible and cable is available. It is THE choice in Missoula.

We were first assigned a full hookup site with 30 amps in the "E" row. The sites were close together, the road was not very navigable, and, although they said we could get in and out of the space with the car attached (we have a 38' motorhome), trees and close proximity to other rigs made that impossible so we had to unhook. It was after we hooked up that we realized we only had 30 amps... we had requested 50 amps. We requested to be moved, and we were readily accomodated. We were moved to row B on the other side of the park. We got 50 amps (no sewer, but we didn't need it) and the ambience was much nicer. The spaces were still hard to navigate with a tow because of trees poorly placed on the site, but they were much wider and nicer than the row "E" were originally put in. The wifi was good, the water pressure good, and the hookups were convenient. I would stay here again (for only one night) but make sure I got in the "B" or "C" row. The area is well maintained and very clean.

The only real pluses are the rate and the proximity to the casino. If you stay for a week you get a 30% discount if you show a player's club card from the casino. They know they will get their money when you go to the casino anyway, which is within walking distance. The whole park is on a slope so there are NO level sites. Many RVs we saw had tires off the ground to get level. They have free Wi-Fi, but it doesn't reach the sites farthest from the office. There are trees at each site, and when we were there, they were blooming, and dropping sticky "leaves" everywhere. They got on the dogs feet and tracked into the coach and now we have sap stains on our leather dash. I have a lot of sap on the roof, which I anticipate will take me many hours of Goo-Gone and elbow grease to remove. The workers in the office seemed fairly indifferent, though not rude. We would not stay there again.

The upper section of the park is quiet, and the view is beautiful, but it was not designed for large RVs. The sites are narrow and the roads are not particularly navigable by large RVs. There is a wireless repeater up there, but it is unreliable. The utilities are not particularly accessible because of all the foliage and the narrowness of the sites. The sites at the bottom are wider, flatter, and all utilities are more accessible. The wireless in the lower section is more reliable because it uses the router at the office. The lower area might be a bit noisier when it's crowded because that's where the rigs with kids are assigned. The folks who run the park, John and Marsha, are among the most pleasant, friendly, helpful, and accommodating owners we've encountered in our 5 years of full-timing.

This is one of those "bless their hearts" situations. It's also an example of Sarah Palin's line about putting lipstick on a pig. The lipstick: they have a nice little shop, the people are very friendly, the roads are very navigable, they have free cable (and they supply the cable), and they have free Wi-Fi, but, "bless their hearts"... (and here's the pig) it's an OLD park, and while the sites are long (100 feet), they are side by side and very narrow. The park is just outside a very run down mobile home park, so the "feel" of the place is poor. I guess it's not bad for an overnight stop, and if you lower your expectations and not expect $33 worth of ambiance and facilities, you will not be too disappointed.

Every RV park owner ought to come here and see what an RV park should be like. The park has all very navigable concrete roads and all level concrete pads. The utilities are very accessible and conveniently situated. The grassy areas are well groomed. The office and rec building are immaculate. There are no trees in the immediate area to block satellite access. The wifi is free and has a strong signal.

This park is 9 miles off the main highway along a curvy road. We were given a pull-thru. The electric outlet had an open ground, (They were "surprised" there was an open ground... I'll bet) so they showed us a few other sites. One was noisy, and one was almost impossible to get in and out of. The whole place looked trashy. We got our money back and left. If I was reviewing this park for Trailer Life I'd give it a 1/1/1.

This is the nicest park in the area, however it does have some drawbacks. The $28 rate was based on a month's stay, which is double what we've paid anywhere else for a month. We had an electrical problem when we arrived which was traced to a bad circuit breaker on the pole, which they promptly replaced. The cable was robust, and although we were tucked in the back, we were able to get satellite. The wifi was strong, but had technical problems that made using it very annoying. I thought it was unreasonable of them to not allow any vehicle washing even from a bucket. If you're going to stay in that dusty environment for a month, especially at those rates, you should have washing privileges, even if you have to pay a few dollars. They do have mostly concrete slabs, which is nice.

We got the senior rate for 1 week so the price was VERY reasonable. It is a very clean, pleasant, park. There are lots of trees so satellite TV is iffy, but, there is so much going on that you won't spend much time in your RV anyway. The horse park itself is very convenient and there are always activities going on there. The utilities hookups are easily accessible, and the roads in the park are easy to navigate.

I cannot imagine how they could have been rated as highly as they were in Trailer Life. Then I saw the size of the ad, and I knew. The roads are narrow and poorly maintained. The sites were not level, and when we were there it was very muddy. The sites are hard to navigate in and out of. We stayed there one night and had not planned to unhook but we couldn't get out without unhooking. It is woefully overpriced for the condition of the facilities. Unfortunately, there are not many choices when you're in the area.

If you have a small trailer or very short motor home, it's easy to get around. Otherwise, navigating into and out of the sites is very difficult. The sites are extremely narrow. The water hookups are almost at ground level and very inconvenient. The WiFi is very weak and slow and not very reliable. There were also lots of ants around. It is conveniently located between Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, but for us, that was the only plus. It's woefully overpriced for the quality of the facilities. I would definitely NOT stay here again.

Very nice park. Very convenient to Capitol Reef Nat'l Park. Wifi was more reliable than some other RV parks we were at in Utah. Staff very friendly and helpful. I agree with a previous review that said the firepits were too close to adjacent coaches. The hookups were convenient. The whole park slopes so the passenger side is always a little low, but not excessive. Price is very reasonable. Very open feel. We'd stay here again.

This is a beautiful, clean park. The sites are spacious, and there is free Wi-Fi and cable. The Wi-Fi is strong and stable. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. There is an afternoon "social" each day so folks can meet each other. The laundry room is immaculate, and there is a trading library. The hookups are convenient. The sites have level concrete pads. While not cheap, it is well worth it. We stayed here in a motor home.

It would be easy to rate this low. There are no real amenities, just restrooms and laundry. The town has no services. It's 30 miles to a decent newspaper and 60 miles to a Wal-Mart... the Wal-Mart drive is beautiful. But, the park is conveniently located between Bryce and Zion, and it is amidst many scenic drives. The owners are extremely cordial. Satellite TV works fine. Knowing the limitations, we would stay there again.

The park is poorly maintained. If you are towing, you have to disconnect because the sites are only about 40' long. The sites are all VERY unlevel as the park slopes and they did not account for that when setting them up. The roads are only one vehicle wide so hooking up again is a problem. There were a lot of "permanent" RV's and the people did not seem particularly friendly. We saw someone walking (and struggling) with a massive Pit Bull... something we found disconcerting. On the plus side, the sites are very wide, the water pressure and voltage are both good, and cable is available. If you want satellite access, you need to request it, then check the site, as the first place we were sent had a tree in the way, which the person at the desk seemedto be unaware of. The facilities overall are good but the ambience is poor.

The country needs more parks like this... a clean, no-frills park to stay overnight on the way to somewhere. It has full hookups ($12 for 30 amp, $14 for 50 amp). It's right by the interstate, easy off, easy on. Good dirt interior roads; level sites; easy hookups. We camped here in a motor home.

We got a Passport America rate. Beautiful park. It's very clean is easy to navigate, and has a great "feel". The entrance road is asphalt and all the park interior roads and sites are concrete. The hookups are convenient. Although I did not use the amenities, they were robust. The rec center was spacious and clean. They have a nice exercise room, a pool room (with a beautiful pool table), a sitting area, and a wealth of games and jigsaw puzzles. The personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. The only drawback is that the whole park is on a slant so the sites are not level. In our case the back end was low. It's not a problem in a 5th wheel because you can lower the front end, but we had to put our rear wheels on 4" of wood to keep from jacking them off the ground. We stayed here in a motorhome.

Redone 2 years ago. Sites are larger and more accessible. Roads are vastly improved. The sites are much closer to level than they used to be. Wifi works great. Sprint cell service. Nice, open feel. Very clean. Friendly personnel.

We've been full-timing and traveling extensively for 3 years and this is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed at. All the sites have level concrete pads. The utilities are very accessible. The sites are wide (30-35 feet) and attractively landscaped. There are multiple wi-fi antennas so there is excellent reception throughout the park. There are at least 5 laundry buildings which double as storm shelters (important in this part of the state!). Also, laundry is FREE! The owners are on site and are extremely gracious, friendly and helpful. The roads are all asphalt and are easily the width of two motor homes. TV cable is free and selection is robust. This is where we are staying if we are anywhere in the area!

We got the Passport America rate of $18.90. Very clean, open park. Nice roads. L-o-n-g level pull-thrus. Good satellite and cell service. Convenient hookups. Nice park for walking around. Short walk to beautiful views. Well equipped general store

It's a very nice park. The roads could be wider, but it's okay. Lots of trees, so no satellite access. Quiet. Site was level. Personnel very nice. Well stocked store. Easy access to Gorham... the moose tour is a must! We were there in July and there were LOTS of mosquitos.

We paid $32 on a weekly rate, but the daily rate was $38. It's a bit pricey, but it is VERY convenient to Peggy's Cove and Halifax. The sites are a bit narrow, and we couldn't fit the car on our site, but we managed. Our site was close to level, but others weren't... more of a concern in a motor home than a towable. We were able to use our satellite for TV. The wifi was very reliable, and the personnel were very helpful with assistance and directions. If we were in the area, we would stay there again.

Very open, with shaded sites available around the edges. Easy access to the sites. The park appears level but the whole park slopes so it is misleading. Hookups are easy and convenient. We were able to get satellite. Excellent for walking around in. Personnel were very friendly. Easily accessible from the main road, yet quiet. Overall, a very nice park.

This is a HUGE park with lots of facilities. It's clean, the sites are level, the grounds are immaculately maintained, and the personnel are friendly and helpful. The utilities are very accessible and the sites are well spaced. Sites with satellite access (Dish and DirecTV)are available. It has a well equipped general store. There are scheduled activities (hayrides, poker night, soccer games, etc.). It's an easy half-hour drive into Summerside.

The comments made by others about periodic electrical outages and sporadic wi-fi still applied when we were there, however, they were only minor inconveniences. The road into the park was pretty rough, but they resurfaced it while we were there and it was much improved. It's a bit far east and north to get the DirecTV satellite signal, but you shouldn't be there to watch TV anyway. The park has a nice feel, and the sites are level. The park is well maintained and the personnel are friendly and courteous. And yes, there is wildlife. I was walking my dogs on the entry road and a black bear crossed the road about 30 yards in front of me. He glanced at us and kept walking. The park is very convenient to the Cabot Trail and the town of Baddeck itself. I recommend it.

Old park. Tight Spaces. Not suitable for large (over 38') RVs. Bad "feel". We paid, did not like the park, and requested a refund within 10 minutes of arriving. Owner refused. We moved on.

Is now Ameristar RV Park (was Diamond Jack's and Isle of Caper). Very open; easy access to sites; Concrete pads but not very level; Convenient hook-ups. Within walking distance of the casino. Sites are short so if you're towing you will probably need to unhook.
